I have the honour to inform you that a bill (copies enclosed), intituled "An Ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding Twenty-six million three hundred and twenty-four thousand two hundred and nineteen Dollars to the public Service of the year 1935" was introduced in the Legislative Council and read a first time on the
13th September.

Copies of the draft Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for 1935, of an Abstract showing the difference between the Estimates of Expenditure for 1934 and the Estimates of Expenditure for 1935, of memoranda by the Colonial Treasurer and the Director of Public Works, and of the speech by the Colonial Secretary are enclosed.

It is proposed to take the remaining stages of the bill on the 27th September, and I shall address
you further thereafter.
